Some say it is the power of the Seven Hills, or our subtle accent that allows us to identify others in a foreign environment or growing up with three generations in the same three decker that's been in the family forevah.
Maybe it is the secret underground canal system, a smiley yellow face, an airport in a neighborhood, "4 Up and 2 chocolates", the ability to navigate the old Kelly Square without tappin' the brakes, a Millbury Street Shuffle, breakfast in a diner car, or a State Championship. Our legendary strength may come from the old US Steel or our historic neighborhoods, our wicked smarts from the streets or all the colleges, whatever. Whatever it is to you it is Authentically Worcester. Born here, live here or just went to school here we are all Woo-Stars...Rich, poor, young, old, rock stars, athletes, blue collar, white collar, guys, girls or undecided...
